The paladin is a fearless, holy warrior. The paladin is a divine, hybrid spellcaster (based on WIS and PER) with spells specializing in melee combat techniques and defense against the attacks of demons and the undead. The paladin possesses few options to deal with foes at range, but can wear the best armor and use divine spells to protect himself better than any other character. Half-Orcs, Half-Ogres, Half-Trolls, and Kobolds lack the courage and devotion necessary to become a Paladin.
