SlayerQuest - The Hunter

The hunter is an expert with a bow who specializes in killing animals and eventually other "types" of monster. The hunter is a hybrid spellcaster who casts spells (based on his INT and WIS) that effect his walking speed, eyesight, missile combat ability, and effectiveness against categories of monsters. Hunters (as well as Marksmen and Rogues) have the special ability to make partial "search checks" when moving, even if they aren't in "Search Mode". Half-Ogres lack the skill and patience to be an effective hunter. Half-Trolls make very poor hunters.
