SlayerQuest - The Bard

The Bard is a musically-inclined, arcane spellcaster. The bard has better combat skills than either the Cleric or Sorcerer, but at higher levels still relies on his magical abilities. Bards specialize in spells dealing sonic damage as well as ones' that cause Sleep, Confusion, and Fear. Bards are the only class capable of using Instruments (which in addition to providing properties like other equipped items, also function like a spellbook). Dwarves, Half-Orcs, Half-Ogres, Half-Trolls, and Kobolds are either not musically-inclined or socially accepted enough to become bards.
